Middletown, NY–Miami Beach, FL
Phillip Constantino Critelli, lifelong resident of Middletown, died January 26, 2011 at Elant at Goshen, He was 93 years old. Phillip was born on May 13, 1917 to the late Rosario and Franceschina Mastroionni Critelli in Middletown. He married Juliet Antoinette Vicere on September 17, 1939 in Middletown. Phillip attended MHS and entered the Navy during WWII. He has been a member of American Legion and a 70 year member of Hoffman Lodge # 412.
Throughout his lifetime, Sundays were always dedicated for dinner and family visits; it was then he was able to savor his time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides hunting and fishing one of his favorite pastimes was watching the horses, especially at the track. He is survived by his loving wife Juliet, at home, daughters Arlene Napolitano and her husband Leonard, and Renee Andryshak and her husband Eugene, brother Alfred and his wife Elinor of Middletown; five grandchildren Christine and her husband Carmelo, Leonard and his wife Debbie, Brian and his life partner Chris, Gena and Philip; seven great grandchildren Gianni, Brian, Laura, Anthony, Jenna, Michael and Tyler and many nieces and nephews.
Phillip was predeceased by his siblings Joseph, Frank, Salvatore, and sisters Isabel Fragomeli and Rose Kelty.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gulfo and his staff at O.R. M. C. Horton Campus Rehabilitation Department and special thanks to Dr. John Ferguson for all his care.
Visitation will be on Friday January 28, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11AM Saturday, January 29. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made in Phillip's name to the Masonic Home, 2150 Bleecker St, Utica, NY 13501.
