Pedro Torres originally from the lower east side of Manhattan chose his home to be Middletown Ny where he created a beautiful family with his loving wife and soulmate Lydia. Pedro was a very jovial, humorous, determined and strong person. Everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet or have him in their life would define it as nothing short of Great. Pedro achieved his dream career as a Correction Officer in NYC and would wear his shield proudly. But Pedro’s greatest achievement was Fatherhood where he was a loving, caring, devoted, patient, motivational and proud Father to all of his children and grandchildren.
Pedro is predeceased by his Mother Carmen Torres, his father Pedro Torres, his brother Abel and Sister Azalea. Pedro is survived by his wife Lydia. Their children Jessica, Pedro Jr, Pablo, and Natalie. His daughter in law Sandra and Son in law Eli. His grandchildren Angelina, Aurelia, Adalia, Mia, Izabelle, Ezreal, and Arya. His extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 17, 2021 from 3:00-4:30 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY, 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 18, 10:00, am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 190 Euclid Ave., Middletown, NY. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
