Pearl Grant of Pine Bush NY, died on Monday March 14 at ORMC Horton Campus . She was 87.
The daughter of the late Cecile and the Leila Smith Grant she was born on May 19, 1923 in Jamaica .
Pearl was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who leaves a host of survivors who will cherish her memory. They include: Rupert Pitkin and his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Christopher Pitkin, Melissa Pitkin, Christina Chong, Michael Pitkin, Rupert Pitkin, Jr., Simone Pitkin, Samantha Pitkin, Christopher Pitkin, Jr., Arthur Attel Jr., Bianca Attel and Ricky; Edna Colvin and her children, Deborah Tate, Diane Chong-Dooley, Denise Colvin-Oleveira, David Chong, Catherine Chong, Matthew, Jessica, Amanda Dooley, Alexa and Anthony Chong, Stepahnie and Joshua Oleveira, Leonard Grant. She had 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Pearl's life was held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 1 pm.
