Paula Dixon Thomas of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. She was 67.
The daughter of Myrtle Dixon and the late Leon Dixon, she was born on April 18, 1944 in New York City. She married Ralph Thomas on April 18, 1991 in Brooklyn, NY.
She is survived by her husband Ralph and her son Joseph Holmes III. She also leaves to mourn her grandsons, Taiquan and Quran Tarieff; as well as her siblings; bother, Leon Dixon and his wife Veronica Carter Dixon and their daughters, Nara Malcom and Victoria C. and Tyissha Dixon; sister, Carol L. Anderson and her husband Charles and her daughter Khadeja S. White and her husband Keith and their children, Chyna S., Robyn I. and Elijah-Blu Miles White; brother Mansoor Rahman and his wife Ruby Stenfield and his son Wali Shamsideen Rahman and his Jannah Surrayah Rahman; brother Rodger and his wife Regina and their children, Elijah and Briana Dixon; and sister Hakikah Shamsiden and her son Malcom Dixon; a host of nieces and nephews and a cousin Cleo Ellis.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 10 from 11:30 until 12:30p.m. at Christian Faith Fellowship Family Church, 510 M & M Road, Middletown, NY 10940. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 at the Church. Pastor Bryant Vasquez will officiate. Cremation will be private.
