Patrick Dean Mulqueen of New Hampton, New York passed away on November 4, 2021.
He was 87 years old.
He was born on April 9, 1934 in Middletown, New York to Mary Grossholz and Timothy P. Mulqueen.
Patrick was a retired Power line foreman with Orange and Rockland Utilities, member of Local 503 IBEW, Past Chief (1969-1974) and lifetime member of New Hampton Fire Company, past Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners, Past Deputy Fire Coordinator of Battalion 7, 1972 Orange County Volunteer Fireman of the Year, Member of Orange County Fire Advisory Board, U.S, Navy Veteran, Member of Mt. Carmel Church, and Director of White Oak Hunting Club.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Erma VanRiper Mulqueen at home, three daughters; Nancy Nowicki (Zigmund), Patricia O’Gorman (Keith), and Karen deRoziere (Roger), five grandchildren; Kristen DeGroot, Andrea D’Andrea, Corey O’Gorman,Nina Morrison, and Nicholas de Roziere, and one great-grandchild Gabriella D’Andrea.
He is predeceased by his sister Helen Smith, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 10 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Applebee-Mcphillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York.
A Service will take place at 11 A.M. On Thursday, November 11 at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Mausoleum at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown, New York.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations, in Patrick’s name, to New Hampton Fire Company, New Hampton, New York.
