Patricia Rodriguez of Middletown, died on Sunday December 3 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus in Middletown, NY. She was 71.
The daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Connors Brunas, she was born on October 20, 1935 in Jersey City, N.J. Patricia married Radhanes Rodgriguez in Suffern, NY.; they moved to the Middletown area 16 years ago from Pomona, N.Y. Most recently, she worked as a cashier for Hannafords in Middletown.
A family statement reads: “She was the most wonderful kind of lady; she had an infectious laugh and always made people feel welcome. Patricia was optimistic about everything. She was very fair and extremley truthful. Patricia was compassionate and charitable – with both a giving heart and a giving spirit. She was easy to love and the best mother anyone could ask for”.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 30 years, Radhanes at home; her children, Steven Presuto and his wife Patricia of Chicago, Il., and Susan Presuto of Melbourne, Fl; three sisters, Joan, Doris and Nora Jean.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Joseph Presuto.
Friends and family may call on Monday, December 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Cremation will follow at Cedar Hil Crematory, Middle Hope.
