Patricia Marie Monteforte, the loving wife of the late Thomas Monteforte, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at home. She was 77.
Patricia was the son of Joseph and Mary Gray Morrissey, she was born on December 27, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. Patricia attended James Madison High School in Brooklyn, after graduating she became a beautician. Unfortunately, she was denied the opportunity of being a mother and grandmother she desired to be. Pat so loved children that she embraced and loved each and everyone as if they were her own. She was a feisty, tough cookie. Her kindness and generosity was extended to all. Everybody loved Patricia. She was a great aunt and will be missed very much.
She is survived by her sister, Rosalie Monteforte; her nephew and Godson, Michael Monteforte and nephews and nieces; Terry Robinson, Gina Lankford, Denise Stephens, John Snow, Martin Snow, James Snow, Mary Kelly and a large extended family.
Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday, January 2, 2014 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940.
