Pat returned to teaching in the Pine Bush School District at the Pakanasink Elementary School while she was earning a Masters of Library Science Degree from C.W. Post and she then became the Librarian at the George Baker High School in Tuxedo, N.Y. Pat served as a Deacon at the Scotchtown Presbyterian Church and was a long-time volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews and was considered a second Mom to many of her children’s friends. She traveled the world, loved her many Great Danes, Poodles and Cats and was always happy when playing cards with Friends or hosting a party.

Pat is survived by her son Howard D. Mills, III and his wife, Erin. Her daughter Elizabeth Miller and her son Todd Mills and his wife, Linda and by her beloved “Niece-Daughter” Michele Staves. She adored her six grandchildren: Shannon Keats Miller, Bradley Miller, Howard Jack Mills, Cooper Mills, Kathryn Mills and Luke Michael Mills.

The Family would like to thank Regina Dianaee and Mildred Ordway for the loving care that they provided to Mom.
