Patricia Ann Palmiero passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her home with her family at her side.
Born on September 16, 1946 in Pawling, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Leight. Patricia married her beloved husband, Anthony Palmiero on May 12, 1993 in Bermuda. She was a hardworking homemaker who enjoyed gardening, dancing, yoga, scrabble and riding her Harley Davidson. She will be remembered for her generosity and strength.
She is survived by her three daughters: Teresa Talavera, Lisa Wood and Ana Palmiero and one son-in-law, Carlos Talavera; a sister, Carol Traver and her husband, Randy; and three loving grandchildren: Amber Dempsey and her husband, Michael and Savannah and Michael Talavera. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony in 2009.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, January 9th at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Celebration of Life will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Following cremation, burial will take place in the family plot in St. Joseph’s cemetery in Middletown.
