Pat passed away on October 31, 2023 at Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare. She was 79.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 21, 1944 to the late Denis and Margaret McGroarty. She was employed for 16 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Middletown, New York where she made many lifelong friends the including Mikie, Cheryl and Dolores. Shopping on Black Friday was always an adventure with them! She was kind, caring, and always thoughtful of others. She was the best gift giver!
She is survived by her children, her son Bill Gilmore, her daughter Nancy Sozio and husband Frank, and her son Michael Gilmore and fiance Robin . Her beloved granddaughters Victoria and Amanda Sozio and her grand dogs Toby and Hannah. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Kidd and her husband Ron and several nieces and nephews that called her "Aunt Patsy".
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Bill.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, November 6, 2023 at St. Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street Middletown, New York 10940.
