Olivia Nicole Beam, age 14, a Jersey girl who grew up in Middletown, New York, passed away after a long illness on September 16, 2012 at home. Olivia is now Heaven's Angel.
She was born on February 14, 1998 in Englewood, NJ, the cherished daughter of William and Kathryn Graham Beam. A Freshman at Pine Bush High School, Olivia was a beautiful soul, creative and sweet. She loved candy and animals and her family and many friends. She always did things her way and followed the beat of her own drum. Technology and the internet enabled her imagination to thrive as she explored her favorite interests- Japanese culture and Pokémon.
Olivia lived heroically through five challenging years, yet she never felt sorry for herself and was always taking care of others. She was grateful beyond belief! She had wisdom and strength beyond her years and taught us all how to BELIEVE!
She is survived by her parents, Kathy and Will Beam; her grandparents, Bob Graham and Jane and Dave Curren; her Aunts and Uncles, Elayne Beam, Sandra LaPointe, Lora Spagnuolo, Joel Beam, Valerie Hartman, Rachel Belew, Kristi Green and Larry Graham and their families and her Great-grandmother, Helen Graham. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Donna Beam Arnheiter.
Visitation hours will be from 1 to 5 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Christian Faith Family Fellowship Church, 510 M & M Road, Middletown, NY 10940. A Celebration of Olivia's Life will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday at the church, Pastor Bryant Vazquez will officiate. Cremation will be private.
