Obituary for Octavia Colon-Santiago
Octavia Colon Santiago, formerly of Puerto Rico, died on March 12, 2018 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was 94.
The daughter of the late Jaoquin and Candida Ramos Colon, she was born on March 26, 1923 in Patillar, Puerto Rico. She loved to sew and worked as a seamstress for Hazen-Issacs Manufacturing.
She is survived by her children, Herman "Nan" Delgado and his wife Elaine, Ida Bauer, Gladys Marino, and Lucille "Lucy" Santiago. She is also survived by her sister, Lola, and grandchildren: Matthew, Kyle, Dante, Dawn, Athena, Robert, Maya, Jose Jr, Benny, Gladys, Marisol, Jules, Kim, and Keith and many nieces and nephews.
