It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of our beloved Nicola Antonio Parrotta on February 20, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Marisa; their six children: Maria (Enzo, predeceased), Peter (Elizabeth), Alessandra (Antonio), Adriana, Nicola (Alessia) and Nicole; nine grandchildren: Isabelle, Juliana, Victoria, Gabriella, Gianna, Francesca, Nicola, Juliette, and Leone, and one more expected; brothers, Antonio and Manlio, as well as many friends and relatives.
He was predeceased by his adored parents, Pietro and Maria.
Nicola was born in Magisano, Italy, and came to America at the age of 16, where he accomplished his dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur. He loved traveling, his devoted dog Luna, singing and playing his musical instruments, and most of all, his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 am-10:30 am on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave., Middletown NY, 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, 11 am, St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Entombment will be private in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
Facial coverings are required, and social distancing is strongly encouraged. The family greatly appreciates all of the love and support, but please no physical contact.
