Obituary for Nicholas Osenni
Nicholas Osenni. January 6, 1992-October 3, 2021
Nicholas J Osenni passed into the next world on Oct. 3. He was 29.
Nick was a Scholar Athlete during his high school years at Valley Central HS, and obtained a Presidential Scholarship to study at SUNY Albany, where he received his Bachelor’s in Environmental Science. He then obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. He lived in Portland, OR for 4 years, where he enjoyed outdoor adventures and visited many National Parks. An avid outdoorsman, Nick was happiest when out in nature, and always had a tidbit of information about the natural world to share. Nick was a kind, loving, intelligent soul with a wry sense of humor. We miss him terribly, and will hold him in our hearts for all eternity.
Nick leaves behind his parents, Dan and Paula Osenni, and is predeceased by his older brother, Brion.
Private services will be arranged at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wild Center in New York’s Adirondacks, the Nature Conservancy or to a conservationist organization of your choice. We invite Nick’s friends to share their memories and comments by posting on the Memorial website.
