Neville A. Evans
Neville A. Evans, an eighteen year resident of the area, died after a short illness at home with his family by his side.
The son of Vincent and Gloria Harrison Evans, he was born in Kingston, Jamacia on November 10, 1952.
Neville married the love of his life, Jacqueline Henry Evans and together they raised two children.
Neville was a goal-oriented person who worked right up until his illness. He was a strict parent whose main objective was to make sure his children were educated and family caring. He was an avid sports fan, loving basketball, cricket, track and field and boxing. The family will always remember his culinary skills and his devotion to his family. He was a bright and inspiring man who made our lives so meaningful.
Neville is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline, at home, his sons; Lincoln “Junior” and Otis, his step-daughters; Michelle and Diane, brothers; Lincoln and Barrington, sister; Vivian and eight grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law, Dahlia , his parents, Vincent and Gloria and his cherished grandson, Kaiden.
Visitation will take place at the Greater Upperroom Apostolic Faith Church on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Viewing at 9:00AM
with a Service of Remebrance at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
