Nazir Ali passed away on 12/28/21 in Brooklyn,NY. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago to Rasull and Nagiran Ali. During his time in Trinidad he became a teacher in the Asja Muslim School where he taught a few of his 7 siblings. Upon moving to NY he met and married his wife Leila (née Khadaroo) of 51 years. In addition to his wife , he is survived by his daughter, Fyza Reid, her husband Robert and his grandchildren Bryan and Meghan who he adored beyond words. He is also survived by his 7 siblings and countless nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Nazir’s wishes, there will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Alz.org
