Michele Lee Robinholt, a lifelong resident of Pine Bush, passed away in her home surrounded by family and close friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 following her fierce battle with ovarian cancer. She was 47.
Michele was born in Goshen on August 26, 1974 to Maureen (Rigney) DiMiceli and the late Salvatore DiMiceli. Michele attended Pine Bush Schools, and at the age of 18, she met her soulmate and husband of 20 years, Mark A. Robinholt. In 2010, Michele and Mark welcomed their precious son Mason Joseph into their lives and the unbreakable Robinholt trio was formed.
Michele was a stay at home mother to Mason, and was well loved by all at EJR Elementary, due to her countless hours of volunteer work. Michele was known to all for her beautiful smile, her sassy comebacks, her endless generosity, and her ever present willingness to listen. Michele always advocated for the underdog and fought tirelessly for social justice.
Along with her beloved husband and son, Michele is survived by her mother, Maureen (Rigney) DiMiceli, her sisters Lisa A. DiMiceli and her partner Jeffrey Williams of Grahamsville, NY and Danielle M. Morris and her husband Robert Morris of Middletown, NY, her cherished niece, Brianna Morris, and her devoted mother-in-law, Francesca Sorrentino of Middletown, NY, as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends. Michele is predeceased by her father, Salvatore DiMiceli and her father-in-law, Valentine Sorrentino.
