Obituary for Michael Noto, Jr.
Michael Noto, Jr., 67, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, surrounded by his family. Originally from Hackensack, New Jersey, Michael and his family have lived in Middletown, NY for 36 years. He is survived by his wife, Linda of 44 years, his 3 sons, Michael and his wife Rachel, Matthew and his wife Brittany, and Jason. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kalib and Elora and his brother Philip. He worked at Crew Engineers of Butler, NJ, as an Engineering Technician. He could always be found “up the country” hunting, fishing and camping out – anything outdoorsy. He loved sitting around a campfire with his cousins after a long day of being in his tree stand. Michael loved cowboy movies/tv shows, John Wayne and Clint Eastwood and oldies music. If you rode in the car with him, you could guarantee the radio would be playing the Beach Boys, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons or Credence Clearwater Revival (which is the only song he could still play on his guitar!)
Michael was a gentle soul, would help anyone who needed it and was loved by everyone. He will be missed by all. RIP
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the American Cancer Society. Thank you.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave., Middletown NY, 10940. Due to the pandemic, visitors are limited to 25 guests at a time.
