Mary De Piano, Michael, affectionately known as 'Mike', leaves behind a legacy of love and
service.
Mike married his best friend's sister, Antoinetta Alifano, on January 27, 1951, at St. Francis
Church in Brooklyn. Their union spanned an incredible 73 years, filled with devotion and

settled in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where he became a well-known figure as the proprietor of
Mike’s Pool Hall on Nassau Ave and Lorimer St. Even after retiring from the pool hall, Mike

continue connecting with people and enjoying city life.

Voloshin, his son Michael, and his daughter Karen. He was a cherished grandfather to Greg
Voloshin and his wife Victoria, Danielle Garcia and her husband Marz, Amanda and her
