Obituary for Maurice Ignatius Pryce
Maurice Ignatius Pryce was born in Rochester, NY to Nathan Pryce and Jessica Pryce on February 6, 1986. He was 35 years old. The family moved to N.Y. when he was six years old. Maurice attended Mechanics town Elementary School, but his parents decided that they preferred to have him attend a school where the curriculum would include biblical teaching, and so he attended Burke Catholic School in N. Y and Harmony Baptist in Montgomery N.Y. he then graduated from East High School in Rochester N.Y.
Maurice was raised in a Christian home with his other brothers and sisters, he was always a part of the children's choir and the youth' ministry of the Agape Love Outreach Mission Ministry for many years.
Maurice was a happy child, he had the most beautiful smile and an infectious laugh, he was very respectful and loving. He loved his family dearly. He loved the outdoors. In his youth his hobbies were Boy scouts, Soccer and Baseball. As an adult he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Maurice was preceded in death by his grandmother Sarah Junious, his grandfather Dilworth Junious, his oldest brother Dwayne Pryce, uncles Dilworth and Roosevelt Junious, first cousins Roosevelt Junious and Jasper Junious.
Maurice was a joy to be around, he loved people and was loved by everyone. He enjoyed social gatherings and "Getting Fresh To Death". You always knew when Maurice entered the room, from his “unique" greeting "yuuurrr" and to his random rap session "when I come thru"
Maurice was the life of the party, rather that party was at the church or the club, when he came in the room, the room turn up was real.
Maurice was an intelligent guy, his math skills were impeccable, and when it came to numbers and money no calculator was needed. He always had a plan and he would map out a route to become rich and successful; though the plan changed weekly, it was still a plan.
Some of the best things about Maurice was, he was unpredictable, fearless and lived life on his own terms. His legacy of love, kindness and caring will be remembered by his parents, Nathan and Jessica Pryce, his children Maurice Pryce Jr. Mehsier Pryce; his siblings Sophia Pryce, Dwight Junious, Shalunda Junious / Concepcion, Roxanne Pryce, Jules Pryce, Earl Pryce, and Nicole Pryce, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that became family.
Maurice is with the Lord, he was given to the Lord from the time his mother carried him in the womb. We are at peace in knowing that he is at peace.
Revelations 21:4-7; And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.
