Obituary for Mary E. Palmer
Mary E. Palmer, a longtime area resident died Sunday, July 2, 2006 in Westchester Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident on May 31. 2006. She was 80 years old.
The daughter of the late Randall J. and Kathryn Rogers Stout, she was born January 27, 1926 in Pearl River, New York.
A family statement reads: “She was loved by everyone and had a wonderful sense of humor. In our minds, she was the strongest and sweetest mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in the world. She dedicated her life to her family”.
She is survived by her two loving children, John J. Palmer and his wife, Daria of the Village of South Blooming Grove and Diane Palmer-Seeley of Middletown; her beloved grandchildren John Palmer, Geary Seeley, Jr., Theresa “Terri” Seeley, and great-grandchildren, Kasey, Kayla, Karly and Jordan. She was predeceased by her sister Kathryn Laub and brother John Lynch.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 7 , 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A funeral service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, July 8, at 10 am at the funeral home.
