Mary Ann Fratto of Greenville NY died on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Her faith in knowing that God Loved her and that her life was in His hands brought her peace and comfort.
She was 76 years old.
As a life long resident of Orange County NY, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Michael and Antionette Mary Barber Pinto,
she was born November 13,1944 in Middletown, NY. Mary Ann attended Middletown High School and was a former employee of Calvert Coat Factory.
Mary Ann,also known as Grandma Fratto,Grandma Ziggy,Nini and GG (whew!), loved being with her family. She was tenacious and always enjoyed going on adventures with them. Hot air ballooning, Parasailing,
hiking and traveling were just a few things she enjoyed throughout her life. She also loved drawing, taking pictures, arts and crafts, and sharing her love of dogs. Milo and Waffles, brought her much joy
and were always the topic of many of her conversations. During the summer time, Mary Ann liked to spend time on her back porch, swimming, vacationing at the beach, and many nights watching
her beloved NY Yankees. She could often be heard detailing her younger days and the simple fun times she had in Middletown.
Going to the fair and five cent movies all day on Saturday were amongst her favorites with her sister Gloria.
Lastly, she enjoyed many travels and fun times with the Slate Hill Setters Senior Club.
Surviving family members: son John and Christine Fratto of Howells NY, daughter Maryann and Michael Gulotta of Clarkston WA,
and son Michael and Danielle Fratto of Greenville NY. Grandchildren: Ross and Allison Fratto, John and Laura Fratto,
Christopher Fratto and Maria Algiere, Hannah and Cody Seaman, Rebekah Gulotta, Christian and Hannah Gulotta, Michaela,
Rachel, Elijah, Michael Fratto and Kristina Bardes, Daniel Fratto (pre-deceased). Great Grandchildren: Rylie and Ross Fratto,
Gabriella and Dominic Fratto, Tekoah Leach and Emmaus Seaman, Tali Adler, Anthony, Nathaniel, Dominic and Dante Gulotta.
Visitation hours are from 9am to 10:30am on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc,
130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. At 11am on Friday, a Celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held at Our Lady of
Mount Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
