Obituary for Marjorie Bradner Davis
Marjorie T. Bradner Davis passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, April, 10, 2011 at her home in Elloree, S.C. following a short illness. She was 85. Born on January 16, 1926 in Warwick, NY to the late Robert & Theresa Wolcott Bradner, Mrs. Davis was the widow of Harry Davis of Middletown, NY.

Margie retired from H.L. Ayers Trucking Co., in Middletown, NY where she worked as office manager for many years. She spent her first 81 years in Orange County, NY & moved to Elloree, S.C.in 2007 where she made many new friends and settled in to enjoy her golden years with her son & daughter-in-law.

She is survived by her three children, Sharon M. Kirchner & her husband Fred, of Crossville, TN, Robert F. MacDonald and his wife Ruth, of Elloree, S.C. and R. Scott McPhillips of Surprise, AZ. Mrs. Davis was the proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family and her many, many friends.

She was predeceased by three sisters & one brother: Evelyn Barber of Warwick, NY, Laura Boyce formally of Thompson Ridge, NY, Elizabeth Entress of Lake Wallkill, N.J. & George Collard of Middletown, NY.

Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elloree, S.C. on Thursday, April 14th, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Warwick, N.Y. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Tri-County, 105 Rodriquez Court, Orangeburg, SC 29118 or The Mentor (Elloree) Branch Library, 2626 Cleveland ST., Elloree, SC 29047. Arrangements made by Fogle Hungerpiller Funeral Home, Elloree, S.C. & Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Middletown, N.Y.
