Margot W. Yorro
November 12, 1935 - November 3, 2023
Middletown, NY
Margot passed away November 3, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 87.
She was born in Lu-Oggersheim, Germany on November 12, 1935 to the late Elisabeth and Viktor Hofmann. Margot was a professional hair stylist for over 30 years working in Germany, New York City, and Scotchtown, NY. Margot met and married the love of her life, Julio Yorro on November 19, 1965 in Germany and were about to celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her friends and family, and listening to her German Music Channel. She was an amazing cook and hostess to anyone who visited. She was a smart, strong minded woman, stubborn at times, and worried about everyone else. She was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph’s church and always supported those in need. Had a love of animals and children whom all gravitated to her. Immensely grateful for all she had and those who assisted in her care. She was a shining light to so many who met her. She truly was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold. An Angel among us.
She is survived by her beloved husband Julio Yorro; her granddaughter Tanya and great granddaughter Madilyn. She is further survived by her daughter Zayda, grandkids Victor, Samuel, Jocelyn, Hommy, and great grandkids, all of Puerto Rico; her niece Isabella of Germany; and many life long family friends to include Eric, Elaine, and Fran. She is predeceased by her mother and father, and sisters Martha and Elisabeth.
