Obituary for Margarita Fabrico
Margarita Fabrico, a longtime area resident, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus. She was 81 years old.
One of eleven children, she was born July 25, 1926 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Hipolito and Marta Coto Velazquez.
A family statement reads, “Margarita had a smile that could light up a room. She was vibrant, charming, and loved by all who knew her. She was a very affectionate lady whose family was always her priority. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.”
She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Salvatore, at home; her three children Mary Margaret DiPasquale and her husband, Frank, of Middletown, Jean Cutone and her husband, Bill, of Westtown, and Richard Fabrico of the Bronx; her three grandchildren Joseph, Adriana, and Melissa; her great-granddaughter Jasyere; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 28, at 9:30 am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown.
Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
