The daughter of Jose A. Colon and the late Margarita Rivera, she was born on February 28, 1972 in the Bronx. Margarita is survived by her father Jose of Middletown, her son Joel of the Bronx, three brothers Jose of the Bronx, Mark and Hommy of Middletown, stepbrothers Lionel and Unguel of Middletown: her grandmother Marlana; aunt Mirian; and uncle Jose; and many cousins.
Visitation hours are from 7 to 9 Sunday Sept. 27, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday Sept. 28, at 2PM at Hillside Cemetery, Mulberry Street, Middletown, NY. Middletown, NY.
