Obituary for Margaret Uthus
Please join our family in recognizing the life and death of Margaret Uthus, 83, of Warwick, New York. Margaret passed away peacefully on June 7, 2022, in the company of her loving daughter. She was born to parents Richard and Myrtle Sinclair, of Rockland, Maine, August 5, 1938. Margaret filled her life with a variety of passions including knitting for friends and family, playing the accordion, exploring art in her early years as well as planting flowers and studying scripture later in life. Margaret was predeceased by two spouses Hans Uthus of Warwick, NY, and Leo LaCasse of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She is survived by two children: Ingrid (Ernest) Hill of Middletown, NY and Daniel (Emily) LaCasse of Leominster, MA. She is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren. Margaret wishes to spend eternity among the wind; therefore, her ashes will be spread in several beloved locations at a later date. We invite all who knew Margaret to honor her legacy by spreading kindness to others. Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties gracefully and tenderly aided Margaret and her family through end-of-life care and Margaret’s family requests that any wishes to celebrate her life be made through a donation to the Hospice team.
