Peggy Sinnott of Goshen NY, passed away on Thursday September 8 in Goshen, NY. She was 56.
The daughter of the late Francis and Ellen Murphy Hughes she was born on June 16, 1955 in Manhattan, NY. Peggy married John F. Sinnott, on January 26, 1972.
She was a Hotel Manager for 25 years, employed by Banta Management, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Peggy was the oldest child; Proud wife, mother and grandmother, Peggy’s family was her focus. She had a beautiful personality, a great laugh, a flair for the dramatic and a determined spirit. She loved and was loved. She is unforgettable.
Peggy is survived by her husband, John, at home; her sons, John and his wife, Marissa of Middletown and Stephen of Goshen; her daughters, Dina Mascellino and her husband, Ed of Titusville, Florida and Alana Sinnott of Goshen. She is also survived by her brothers, James Hughes of Upland, California and Justin Hughes and his wife Nancy of Massapequa, N.Y.; her sister, Carol Delgado of Rivers Edge, N.J. an aunt, Mary Campbell and her husband Mike of Parlin, N.J.; grandchildren, Lauren, Logan, Ethan, Cameron and Brody ; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Harricharan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 .Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the family plot in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Memorial contributions in Peggy’s name can be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties,Inc. 800 Stony Brook Ct, Newburgh, NY 12550.
