MARGARET “PEG” M. NUNMAKER, 89, of Lady Lake, Florida, died Sunday, August 14, 2011. She was born October 22, 1921 in Kearney, New Jersey. She retired from the Bursar’s office at OCCC and moved to the Villages from Middletown, NY in 1995. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake, Fl. She was a sports car enthusiast and enjoyed NASCAR. She volunteered for Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her Daughter; Susan Nunmaker, The Villages, FL., sisters; Elizabeth “Betty” Long, Middletown, NY, Grace Weiss (James), Wake Forest, NC, Sister-in-Law Ann Whelan, The Villages, Fl, Sister-in-Law, Anita Whelan, Poughkeepsie, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband, H. Thomas Nunmaker , son, Thomas A. Nunmaker, 2 Brothers; Thomas & James Whelan, and a brother-in-Law, Harry Long.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Middletown, NY on Saturday August 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may call at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940 on Friday August 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Howells Cemetery, Howells, NY.
