Louise Manocchio, a longtime area resident, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at her home. She was 84 years old.
One of ten children born to the late Robert and Fannie Mae Treadwell Taylor, she was born on August 12, 1922 in Georgia. A longtime member of the Deer Park Senior Leisure Club and faithful parishioner of Holy Name Church, Louise will always be remembered as someone who loved life and lived each day to the fullest. She was a woman of faith and a dedicated mom, doting grandmother and great grand mom and is now reunited with the love of her life, Alfred.
She is survived by her son Robert Manocchio and his wife, Marie of Mount Hope, her daughter Susan Klein and her husband Thomas of Greenville; six grandchildren, Monica Asprea and her husband T.J., Diane Baloga and her husband Phil, Lisa Klein, Lori Connolly and her husband, Walter, Michael and Christopher Klein ; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Thomas and Michael Robert Asprea; one sister, Virginia Hinderlider of Crawfordville, GA as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Manocchio and eight siblings.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Applebee McPhillips Funeral home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 11th at 11am at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 45 Highland Avenue Otisville. Burial will follow in the family plot in Holy Name Cemetery, Otisville
