Louisa Centeno, a retired U.S. Post Master, died on April 20, 2014 at Orange Regional Medial Center in Middletown, NY. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Dolores and Julia Marquez Castro, she was born on August 18, 1936 in the Bronx, NY.Â
Louisa is survived by her daughter Arlene Heitzmann and her children, Nicholas, George and Stephanie; daughter Leslie Mongilia and her children, Olivia and Louis and one son, Michael and his sons, David and Jonathan. Louisa is also survived by her brothers, Raymond and Anthony Castro and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was private.
Memorial visitation hours are from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
Memorial Service will follow at 11 am on Saturday at the funeral home, Fr. Dennis Nikolic will officiate.
Burial of ashes will take place in O.C. Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
