Lisa Marie Lockrow born August 25th, 1971 to Charles Lockrow and Linda (Dutcher) Lockrow in Poughkeepsie, NY. Lisa was a long-time resident of Middletown, NY and was a Middletown High School graduate – Class of 1989.
Lisa passed away Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 in Arizona after a yearlong battle with breast cancer.
Lisa loved her life as a real estate agent and was very successful. Lisa lived bi-coastal for the last 12 years of her life between Middletown, New York and Arizona. Lisa loved NY, and was sure people knew where she was from. Lisa embarked on a new chapter of her life when she moved to Arizona and joined her other half, Brian. She helped raise three beautiful souls and was so excited to see how life progressed for them. Not only did she raise her step kids but also helped raise her sisters’ kids after losing her. She was a mother figure to so many.
Through anything, Lisa was a constant source of comfort, support, and endless laughter. She was the life of the party, someone you would call the greatest friend in any relationship. She loved going to Myrtle Beach with her family and she loved crab cakes. She loved the color blue and her puppy, Lucas Charlie.
Lisa is predeceased by her father Charlie and sister, Lori Lockrow.
Lisa is survived by her mom Linda (Dutcher) Lockrow, her niece Miranda Mirabal and nephew Anthony Mirabal of Middletown, NY. She is also survived by her fiancé Brian McKernan and her stepchildren Brian, and his wife Karla, and Payton & Haven McKernan of Gilbert, AZ, her brother-in-law Patrick McKernan and his wife Salina McKernan and children Patrick, Lindsey, Kaylee, and Zachary, her sister-in-law Jenny Snodgrass, husband Dante, and children Dante, Sydney, and AJ. She was also survived by Patrick and Julia McKernan of Middletown, NY, her Uncle Arthur Dutcher and wife Ellen and cousins Jacqueline, Chris, Michele, and Rebecca, as well as her Aunt Kathleen Nebel, cousins Jennifer Krouser and Brian Nebel. She is also survived by several other cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends in both Middletown and Arizona.
To say Lisa lived her life to the fullest is an understatement. Please think of her when you ride your bike, or take a boat ride. It is with great sadness we must speak to her within the wind and the sky, but all know that she is at peace and together with her loved ones up there once again.
