Linda S. Desmond, of Lexington, S.C. and formerly of Middletown, died following a short illness on September 12, 2018 in Lexington, SC. She was 75.
One of Clifford and Antoinette Erickson, Sr.'s eight children, she was born on February 27,1943 in Middletown. She was a 1961 graduate of MHS. Linda worked as a Bank Manager at Wilmington Trust in Delaware until moving with her family to South Carolina.
She is survived by her husband, John Sr. (Jack) , son John Desmond Jr., (Kathy) of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters: Kathleen and Kristine; her three precious grandchildren: Bella, Rafferty and Jack; her sisters Sandra Bennett of Michigan, Carol McGowan of Middletown, New York, Joyce Stanbro (Vinny) of Oxford, New York, Nancy Hosking (Joey) of Otisville, New York and Susan Van Hooker of Otisville, New York. She is also survived by her brothers: Clifford Erickson (Debra) of Afton, New York and David Erickson (Kristine) of Slate Hill, New York as well as several nieces , nephews and sister-in-law, Peggy Desmond of Connecticut.
****A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Lindner Center of Hope or The American Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
