Obituary for Linda Dassori
Linda Dassori, a longtime resident of Middletown, died unexpectedly at Garnet Medical Center on February 10, 2022, she was surrounded by her loving family. Her passing has left our family heartbroken.
She was a devoted wife, loving Mom and a precious grandparent in our family.
The daughter of Albert and Mary Smith Wangenstein, she was one of twelve siblings, born in New York City on August 4, 1949.
Linda was someone whose presence would light up a room...no matter where she was. She loved to laugh and dance and brought sunshine to our family.
She was beautiful and fashionable; she loved her children, especially her grands.
She is survived by the love of her life, her beloved husband, Harry, whom she married in Middletown on August 1, 1992 and her adoring children; Gina Piccirilli, her husband Kevin, Frank Piccirilli and his wife Kimberly, all of Pine Bush, N.Y. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Kayla, Reilly, Sophia Grace, Damien, Nadia and Sophia, great grandchild; Lucas Joseph, one brother, Albert Wangenstein of Haverstraw, NY.
Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3-5 p.m.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Interment will take place in the Queen of Mary Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
