Laura was born in Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla in Mexico on February 27, 1974 to beloved parents Guillermina Moreno Campos and Rufino Alejandro Hernandez Corona. She was the second oldest out of four sisters. She came to the U.S in 1997 along with her husband, Alejandro. They lived in New Jersey, Freehold, where she gave birth to her daughter and later moved to Middletown, NY. She was the most loving individual who was full of light and positivity, even during her toughest moments. Drawing and painting was her passion. She loved plants and planned to build a garden full of her favorite flowers. Her favorite dog, Kiara, was her companion and best friend, who passed five days before she did. She loved her family more than anything and will always be remembered. Her family plans to take her to Mexico, as she always wanted to visit her country again before she passed.
Visitation will be held at Applebee- McPhillips Funeral Home scheduled for Thursday, February 17 from 6-8. Mass will be held at St.Joseph’s Church in Middletown Friday, February 18 at 11:00 led by Father Kevin.
