Obituary for Larry William Walsh
Larry William Walsh, a Cuddebackville resident, died unexpectedly at Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis on Sunday, December 16, 2012. He was 58.
The son of John J. Walsh, Jr. and the late Adelaide Romer, he was born on October 3, 1954 in Middletown. Larry was a self-employed plumber. He was an avid sportsman and hunter and president of the Oak Ridge Rod and Gun Club. Larry was a beloved father to his daughter, Sara.
Larry is survived by his significant other, Terry Murray; his daughter, Sara Walsh of Port Jervis; his father, John; sisters, Barbara Carr and her companion Douglas Muller of Monticello and Devona Springer of Middletown as well as one nephew, Christopher Carr and his wife Tammy of Ellenville, two nieces RaiAnn and Monica Springer of Middletown; two uncles, Edward Walsh and his wife Dee of Middletown and Art Walsh of Port Henry, NY; and three aunts, Margaret Decker, Anna Post and her husband Louis and Joy Walsh, all of Middletown.
Visitation hours are from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY, 10940. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg, NY.
