Kevin Joseph McCabe, age 70, of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, October 4, 2012.
Son of the late Joseph and Marion McCabe, Kevin was born in the Bronx, NY. Kevin was a graduate of St. Helena’s High School and Fordham University. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969.
Kevin is survived by his two children, Kelly McCabe of Cambridge, MA and Kevin P. McCabe of Washington, D.C.
Kevin was a loving father, an avid NY Giants fan, an occasionally successful fisherman, and an incorrigible practical joker. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 8, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A funeral service of remembrance will be celebrated at 8 p.m. by Father Pat McGuigan O. Carm. Entombment will be held at the Orange County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Kevin’s name may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, NY.

Services are Monday, Oct. 8th at the Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 pm followed by 8 pm funeral. Interment will take place in Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
