Kelly Ann Parenti, a lifetime Middletown resident, died unexpectedly on February 17, 2021 at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown. She was 55.
The daughter of Jeremiah and Regina Shuman Doyle, she was born on January 12, 1966 in the Bronx. Kelly married Ralph Parenti on July 12, 1986 at St. Joseph's Church in Middletown, NY. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Middletown, NY. She was an adoring wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and daughter who fought difficult medical battles for many years. She lived for her grandchildren and loved vacations at Disney with her family.
In addition to her husband Ralph at home, she is survived by her cherished daughter Megan Rodgers and her husband Eddie of Middletown, her beloved grandchildren Nicholas and Hailey; her brother James Doyle and his companion Laura Dolan of Newburgh and sister Regina Brunning and her husband Todd of Middletown, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins and her dog Quincy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Fischer, Dr. Nissirios, Dr. Obligado, Dr. Divincenzo, the nurses at Fresenius Medical and special thanks to Denise Howard for the love and care they gave to Kelly and her family.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday evening, Rev. Nicholas Egger will officiate. Cremation will be private.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required of guests at the services at the funeral home.
