Obituary for Kathleen A. Piacentino
Kathleen A. Piacentino, a longtime area resident died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at home with her loving family by her side.  She was 58 years old.

The daughter of the late James J. and Ann Funaro Wilson, she was born January 15, 1949 in the Bronx. She married her beloved husband, Robert, September 30, 1967 in the Bronx.  Together they moved into the area in 1976 to raise their family.

A family statement reads:” We will always remember our mom as a kind, generous, and patient woman. Our dad couldn’t have asked for a better wife. She was a loving companion and his best friend. Together they raised three beautiful children, that made them both very proud. She was a great mother and terrific Noni, who lived for her grandchildren. A beautiful woman inside and out, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.”

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Robert, at home; three adoring children Robert and his wife, Christina, of Scranton PA, Christina Rave and her husband, Eric, of Otisville, and Marie Rose and her husband, Todd of Wurtsboro; three cherished grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as their Noni, Christopher Rave, Ethan, and Bryanna; two brothers John Wilson and his wife, Hope, of the Bronx, James Wilson and his wife, Barbara, of Yonkers; and her sister Penny Wilson-Balsamo and her husband, Robert, of Wurtsboro.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 20 at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown.

Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to be made in Kathleen’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
