Obituary for Katherine R Hardy
Katherine R. Hardy, daughter of Rose Marie Gallifuco Pingotti Faber and Louis C. Pingotti, passed away peacefully at 95 years of age, on August 26, 2022, after a long illness. Mrs. Hardy was previously married to Charles F. (Rock) Hardy, who predeceases her. She was a registered nurse spending most of her nursing career as a supervisor at the Middletown State Hospital, the Veterans Administration Health System, and as a school nurse/teacher. She is survived by two daughters Lynda (Lyn) R. and Deborah J. Hardy, both of Winston-Salem, NC; two grandchildren, Starr S. Moore of Detroit, MI and MaryBeth Clark of Greenville, SC; and two great-granddaughters Lauren Rose Clark and Erin Starr Clark. Mrs. Hardy loved helping others, music, and dancing spending many evenings helping the Daughters of American Veterans (DAV) and dancing at the Elk’s Club in her younger days.
