Karen E. Daly, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. She was 73.
The daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Renton McAnaney, she was born on March 3, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. Karen was a Registered Nurse and worked for Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Middletown and was actively involved in community services as Director. Karen married William J. Daly, Sr. on January 22, 1995 in Port Jervis, NY.
In addition to her devoted husband, William at home, she is survived by her daughters, Karyn Talmadge and her husband George of Loveland, OH, Kellianne Freer and her husband A.J. of Narrowsburgh, Kimberly Daly and her husband Shawn of Middletown, Kristi-Jo Radeboldt of Narrowsburg and Carol-Anne Radeboldt of Newport News, VA and Jody Iannazzi. Karen is also survived by her sons, Richard Radeboldt of Loveland, OH, Thomas Radeboldt of Williamsburg, VA, William Daly, Jr. and his wife Sue of New Hampton, and Daniel Daly and his wife Christy of Middletown; 26 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard W. Radeboldt on August 1, 1985 and her sister, Maureen.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 70 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
