Obituary for Justine Henderson
Justine Henderson, age 81, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2021 to be with the Lord. She was born on September 16,1940 in Bamberg South Carolina to Evelyn and John Henry Washington. Justine married James Edward Henderson in 1959. They had seven sons. Justine attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Jamaica Queens, NY.
Though humble and quiet in stature, Justine had a profound love for her Children, Family and The Lord. She was blessed with many a talent that she humbly reserved. In her youth, she was a member of her church's singing choir as well as a talented artist whose piece of her work, was one day discovered by her son, Kenny. Justine also had an innate talent for crocheting and knitting.
Justine is survived by her sisters Eartha, Lucille and brother Charles; Seven Sons: Alvin, Anthony (Crystal), Bryan (Rose), Kenneth, Lydell (Clarice), Marc (Kayleen), and Alonzo; Twenty Grandchildren: Marcell (R.I.P.), Tanesha, Ashanti, Ta'shi, Haneefah, L'jah, Isaac, Natasha, Anthony Jr., Christopher, Sharon, Bryan Jr. Lydell, Lydell Jr., Desmond, Dion, Kiyana, Shaquille, Vanessa, Frances, Eleven Great Grandchildren: I' Yanni, Maliyah, Tavain, Mikah, Jada, Damir, Cameron, Messiah, Bryanna, Brandon, Elijah and Jadison, plus nephews, nieces and friends.
