Juliet Antionette Critelli, of Middletown and North Miami, died following a long illness at Elant at Goshen. She was 95.

The daughter of the late Albert and Rosina Furlono Vicere, she was born in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Middletown at the age of 16 and met and married, Phillip C. Critelli, her husband of 71 years. Juliet and Phillip owned and operated Juliet’s Beauty Studio in Middletown for over 30 years.

She enjoyed Sunday dinners and holidays with her family, She loved to cook; making her own pasta, raviolis and meatballs. She also like taking bus trips, going to casinos, playing bingo, and card games.

She is survived by her daughters, Arlene Critelli Napolitano and her husband Leonard, and Renee Critelli Andryshak and her husband Eugene; Brother-in-law Alfred Critelli and wife his Elinor, all of Middletown. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; Christine and her husband Carmelo, Leonard and his wife Debbie, Brian and his husband Chris and Gena and her companion Mark and Phillip; ten great-grandchildren, Gianni, Brian, Laura, Taylor, Anthony, Jenna, Michael, Tyler, Archer and Patrick many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Phillip, two brothers: Orthello and Romeo, and sister-in-law, Clara Vicere, sister Matilda Luca and her husband Jimmy, Connie Sasso and her husband Len and Laura and Ginger Calabrese.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Cremains will be interred in the Queen of Peace Mausoleum at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. John Ferguson for the many years of excellent care he provided for Juliet and Dr. Kaur, nurses and staff for their exceptional care at Elant at Goshen. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions in Juliet’s name may be made to the Elant Foundation at Goshen, 46 Harriman Drive, Goshen, NY 10924.
