Judith Ann Zimmer Boell-Olsen, (aka Jazbo) daughter of late John and Marguerite Rosche-Zimmer was
born on March 11, 1939, in Jersey City, NJ. She grew up in Rochelle Park and Dumont, NJ where she
attended Dumont Hight School and later Fairleigh Dickinson University. Judith was a long-time resident
of Norwood, NJ and Westtown, NY.
Judith passed away peacefully after battling ovarian cancer on January 3, 2023, at the age of 83. She was
a fighter to the very end. Having worked as a dental hygienist and medical secretary at Hunterdon
Medical Center in Flemington, NJ, she later retired from the Shaklee Corporation where she was a
distributor of health and wellness products.
Judith married Roger Milburn Boell on 9/15/1962 at the Reformed Church in Dumont, NJ and raised
their family in Norwood, NJ. She was widowed on 10/29/1983, and later married Eric Fergus Olsen of
Cliffside Park, NJ. They moved to Washington, Warren County, NJ in 1988. Sadly, she was widowed
again, on November 12, 2000, and relocated to Westtown, NY to be closer to family.
Judy loved retired racing Greyhounds as much as she loved life. She shared her home with 7 of her own
Greyhounds and fostered over 30 more. They were her pride and joy. She was an avid gardener and
member of the local garden club. Judy was also a self-taught artist, specializing in pen and ink, oil, and
watercolors, and even won a few awards. She loved to read, especially about dogs and strived to enjoy
life and keep busy with her many different interests. She loved entertaining family and friends and had a
highly active social life. Judy was a dedicated member of the Westtown Presbyterian Church.
She was amazed by the support and sense of family that she received from them often speaking of the
commitment and comfort they selflessly gave from the very beginning.
Survivors include devoted son and daughter, William John Boell and Susan Elizabeth Boell, sister Joan
Louise Keating, niece Joanie Elizabeth Keating-Ingram, her husband Steve Roger Ingram, great nephew

We found these words in our mom’s Confession of Faith and wanted to share them with you.
“My personal salvation came at an early age. How has God helped me? I have been through the many
challenges of life and I have sought God for help and comfort. Through every turn of my life, I have
embraced God”.
“I believe that we all have a choice, but that God knows the outcome. I know this to be true. Somehow,
I feel comfort in knowing this because we are saved by Grace.”
