Joan Capozzoli of Goshen, New York died peacefully on February 6th at the Sapphire nursing home. She was 89 years old.
Born in Harlem, New York on May 25th 1933, Joan was delivered by her grandmother Pauline Kadlec at home and was the daughter of Catherine Kadlec and Russel Kirkland, she was a long-time resident of the Bronx, New York. Joan and her husband Nicola were wed in New York, New York on December 8th, 1951. She moved to the Middletown area in 2005.
Joan is survived by her son Lucido Capozzoli and his wife Kathy of Livingston Manor, New York, her daughter Annmarie Kinlen and her husband Joseph of Bradenton, Florida, as well as her grandchildren Anthony Capozzoli, Krysten Capozzoli, Nicholas Kinlen, and Matthew Kinlen, as well as her great-grandchildren Carson, Brayden, and Adalyn. She was predeceased by her husband Nicola on February 24th, 1972.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8th from 6Pm to 8Pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 130 Highland Ave Middletown, NY
