Jerilyn “Jeri” Jackson, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died following a brave battle with a long illness on Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Kindred Hospital in New Jersey. She was 68.
The daughter of the late Edwin Rose and Muriel Smith, she was born on March 26, 1949 in Middletown, NY. She was a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1967. Jeri shared a 51 year relationship with William C. “Slick” Jackson, who she married and spent all of her time with. Jeri worked as a telephone operator for Frontier Communications for 31 years, until her retirement due to her illness. Jeri was loved by many and was a good friend. She laughed a lot and always stayed strong. Everyone had a story about Jeri, her loss will be felt by many who loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband William at home; and her three sons, Christopher, Eric and Dain Jackson and one daughter, Latoya Jackson; five grandchildren Jordan, Najhe, Jamier, Kameron, and Jaidan.
