A longtime resident of Middletown, Jeff passed on Sunday, October 30th, 2022. He was 52 years old.
Born in Middletown but raised in Brooklyn NY until the age of 16, he was born to Dorothy “Jodi” Mann and Donald Ferrick. He was proudly married and survived by Elizabeth A. Harris.
Jeff was an active person who loved to hang glide and para-glide. He loved to fish, camp, and enjoy the outdoors. He was an accomplished wood worker making furniture for friends and family. At the end of each day, Jeff looked forward to enjoying “a little horsey”, his favorite Rolling Rock beer. An avid dog-lover, Jeff loved spending the evening and any free time with his dogs, Oakley and Jellybean.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Liz, in Middletown, his mother Jodi of Fort Pierce, Florida, his brother Dayve Ferrick and his wife Laura and their children of Fresno, California and his Aunt Sr. Patricia Ferrick of Queens, NY. He is also survived by his father-in-law William Costello and his wife Arlene, Liz’s brothers; William and his wife Joy of Nunda, NY, Christopher Costello and his wife Maureen of Middletown, Patrick Costello of Middletown, and Matthew Costello and his wife Nancy of Sparrowbush, NY along with 9 nieces and nephews. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Donald Ferrick and his stepdad, James Mitchell of Fort Pierce, Florida.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, from 1:00 Pm to 3:00Pm and 4:00Pm to 6:00Pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home located at 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY
