Jeffrey Crawford of Greenville, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday October 19 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. He was 48.
The son of Betty Hughson and Jerome Crawford, Jr., he was born on January 22, 1961 in Middletown. He married Sally Cutler on January 20, 1986 in the Town of Wallkill. He was a lifetime resident of the area and ran his own drywall business.
Jeff was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his advice, right or wrong. Jeff will be missed very much by all who knew him.
Jeff is survived by his wife Sally, his three children, Michael and his wife Courtney, Mark and his wife Stephanie and Nichole Crawford; his sisters, Diana Olsen of Sussex,NJ, Donna McFarland of FL, Rita Powers of Middletown, Cathy Mitchell of Binghampton, and Frances Conklin of Port Jervis; sister-in-laws Verna Lynch of Greenville, Ellie Cutler of Middletown, Tara Cutler of Westtown, Cathy Douhgty and Jayne Wiemarth; three grandchildren, Autumn, Alannah Crawford and Eva Geczi, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A Funeral Service in Remembrance will be held at 8 pm on Friday evening at the funeral home, Cremation will be private, at the convenience of the family at Cedar
Hill Crematory, Middle Hope.
