Jeanette Ledoux, beloved and generous mother, died following a long illness on Saturday, January 13, 2018 surrounded by her family at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 77.
Jeanette was born on Febrauary 12, 1940 in Belladere, Haiti. She was a very spiritual woman who worked for many years as rectory staff for Holy Cross Church in Brooklyn, NY. She loved her God and spent First Fridays at the the Chapel at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Middletown. Jeanette was a very good mom and devoted grandmother who took great joy in feeding everyone(whether they were hungry or not).
Jeanette is survived by her children; her three sons, Withny Ledoux and his wife Marie Dina of Spring Valley, Ambrose Ledoux and his wife Kedanie of Spring Valley, and Angelot Ledoux and his wife Florence of Circleville; and her four daughters, Marie Andree Ledoux of Middletown, Emmanise Louis and her husband Emmanuel of Circleville, Darline Cantave and her husband Arsonval and Adelyne Tornay and her husband Pierre of Switzerland. She is also survived by her three brothers, Patrice, Jean Carlo and Jean Claude Ledoux; and grandchildren; Loubens, Julie, Sagine, Gregory, Emmlyn, Elijah, Ethan, Queenia, Nitchy, Arslyn, Marline, Eric, Kenisha, Steve and Archy; and great-grandchildren, Kayden, Elisha and Sagile.
She was predeceased by her siblings. Therese, Mariellie, Felix, Joe and Coque.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at St. Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
