Obituary for Jean Palmer
Jean Palmer, an 18 year resident, formerly of Riverdale, NJ, died Monday October 16, 2006 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care, Goshen. She was 77 years old. The daughter of the late Francis and Helen McDonnell Nolan, she was born March 6, 1929 in Duryea, PA. She Jean is survived by one daughter, Deborah Palmer of New Jersey; one brother, Edward Nolan of Scranton, PA; two sisters, Kathleen King of Middletown and Marie Young of Winston Salem, NC as well as several nieces and nephews.Jean was predeceased by her son Steven Palmer, her daughter Alice Nolan and two sisters, Helen Dyson and Claire Chroback.
Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 18th at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A funeral service of remembrance will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 19th at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
